Early Education Staff

• Enthusiasm, dedication, and growth - At Cornerstone, we recognize that working with children is our ministry and we feel blessed to be a part of God's work. How do we do that effectively? Our staff is purposeful about their relationship with Jesus Christ, they are a part of Crossroads Community Church and they are committed to a path of personal spiritual growth and development. We provide our children with a happy, healthy staff of teachers and assistants.
  


• Family partnerships - Our staff recognizes that we are partners with our families in growing up their children. Teachers regularly communicate with families to give feedback on their child's development or issues, and to understand concerns or needs that each family has.
  


• Training - All of our staff attends a 20-hour class through the State Training and Registration System (STARS), which is a division of the Department of Early Learning, and maintains ten additional training hours each year. We also provide ongoing mentoring and guidance to our teachers and classroom assistants.
  


• Experience - To be eligible for employment, we require college coursework as well as work experience in Early Childhood Education.
