The Cornerstone Early Education Program represents a calling that Crossroads Community Church has to reach younger children and their families with the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Today's families want more for their children than "daycare" can give.
At Cornerstone , we promise to provide:
- Experienced, caring, and loving teachers - our teachers are trained for their positions, have experience in their positions, and are provided with ongoing education and assessment.
- Safe, secure facilities, managed by an attentive staff.
- Enriching programs, experiences, and curriculum tailored to every level of childhood development.
- Christian worldview and values - not just a moralistic approach to raising children, our Early Childhood Education program is a ministry to grow our kids up in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
Our program is licensed by the Department of Early Learning, for 120 children. We offer enrollment to children 4 weeks of age to twelve years old. We have four preschool classrooms that offer full or half-day schedules. A unique benefit at Cornerstone is our Quiet Room, which is offered to children ages four and five and is available for children who no longer require an afternoon nap. Our enclosed nursery area has three spacious rooms that house our infant and toddler programs. We have three outside playgrounds that offer age-appropriate challenges.
Our Extended Care program operates daily from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is open during all school breaks and minor holidays. Breakfast is served to all students who arrive before 8:00 AM. Afternoon snack is offered at 3:30 to those students attending after-school care.
All of our meals and snacks are prepared by a trained chef, and regulated through the USDA Food Program.
