Cornerstone's elementary school curriculums are adopted through regular curriculum review processes. These processes include both administrators and teachers, as well as church board members. Our goal is to provide our students with the most challenging and progressive curriculum tools possible to help them grow, while at the same time balancing the "latest and greatest" with the "tried and true."
We also take into account Washington state standards, as well strength and consistency throughout all Cornerstone grade levels. Cornerstone currently uses the following curriculum at the elementary campus: Bob Jones bible curriculum, McGraw Hill language arts curriculum, McMillan math curriculum, and Foss Kits for science exploration.
Our teachers are also trained and encouraged in creating a Christian worldview perspective for each and every subject they teach. We believe God created math, science, and language arts as well as the Bible, and that all things consist in Him and through Him.
