We recognize that not every family who wants to come to Cornerstone is able to fully afford the tuition. Recognizing that reality, together our Cornerstone families participate in fundraising activities that make our school more affordable for everyone. We also raise money for tuition assistance.
Tuition assistance is offered on a limited basis according to the funds available for this purpose—through fundraising or other means, coupled with the need of the applicants. Available funds vary from year to year.
To qualify, the following Financial Assistance Request Form must be completed and returned to the school office no later than August 15 of every year. These forms will be considered by a financial aid review team, which consists of school administrators and church board members. Letters of notification will be forwarded by August 25, and all applicants are told whether or not they will receive financial aid and how much aid can be awarded. At that time, families are requested to accept or reject an award, in order to allow the awards process to continue if indeed some awards are not accepted.
In addition to the Financial Assistance Request Form, applicants must also read and comply with the following documents: Financial Assistance Guidelines, Application Procedure, and Mandatory Student Criteria.
